Glen Hansard Feat. Eddie Vedder – Drive All Night

Album

Drive All Night is an EP by Irish musician Glen Hansard. It was released in December 2013 under Epitaph Records.

The title track is a cover of a Bruce Springsteen song, a non-single album track from his 1980 album The River. Besides guest vocals from Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder, the song also features Jake Clemons, current member of the E Street Band.

Glen Hansard (born 21 April 1970) is an Irish songwriter, actor, vocalist and guitarist for the Irish group The Frames, and one half of folk rock duo The Swell Season.

He is also known for his acting, having appeared in the BAFTA-winning film The Commitments, as well as starring in the film Once, which earned him a number of major awards, including the Academy Award for Best Original Song for "Falling Slowly", with co-writer and co-star Markéta Irglová.

Eddie Vedder, pseudonimo di Edward Louis Severson III (Evanston, 23 dicembre 1964), è un cantautore e chitarrista statunitense, noto principalmente per essere il cantante del gruppo musicale grunge/alternative rock Pearl Jam, nonché una delle icone del movimento culturale grunge del quale il gruppo stesso ha fatto parte.

Suona diversi strumenti, tra i quali la chitarra, l'armonica a bocca e l'ukulele, che ha utilizzato nella registrazione dei suoi album da solista, oltre che con i Pearl Jam in alcune occasioni.
