Nightcrawlers – Push The Feeling On

Nightcrawlers - Push The Feeling On

Perle Dimenticabili tira fuori pezzi deprecabili e assurdi, trovati conservati, per strani motivi, nel mio personale etere.

Vediamo oggi cosa esce fuori... 🙂

Nightcrawlers - Push The Feeling On

Song

Push The Feeling On was initially issued in the United Kingdom and very quickly established itself as a massive club favourite all across the country. It was only a hit in the US when it was released there in 1993. It proved to be a greater commercial success internationally when it was re-released in 1995.

The song was remixed featuring John Reid as a vocalist.Push The Feeling On reached the top 10 in various European countries, including the UK, where it peaked at #3.

The song was released again in 2003 and 2007, in other remixed versions. In 2008, Bob Sinclar interpolated the track for his remix of Rihanna's hit single "Don't Stop the Music." In May 2009, Miami rapper Pitbull sampled the song in his song "Hotel Room Service", and British house duo Waze & Odyssey also sampled the song for their bootleg of R. Kelly's Bump n' Grind when released in 2014.

The song's electronic bass line has become a feature of, and inspiration for many house music songs, both throughout the '90s, as well as in the underground house music movement, particularly in the UK, which began to gain wider recognition in 2013, and has been since grown.

Original CD single release (catalogue BRCD 258/864491-2) credits John Reid as Jon Reed. The 1995 release New MK Mixes for '95 (UK catalogue FCD 257, international catalogue 854 275-2) credits John Reid as J. Reed.

Push the Feeling On è una celebre canzone dance del progetto musicale scozzese Nightcrawlers, capitanato dal compositore John Reid, estratta come primo singolo dal loro album di deutto Let's Push It del 1995.

Album

Lets Push It is the debut album by Scottish house music project Nightcrawlers, featuring vocalist John Reid. It was released in 1995. The album includes two singles which reached the UK top 10: "Push the Feeling On" and "Surrender Your Love", which were both also big hits throughout Europe, plus three further singles which reached the UK top 40: "Don't Let the Feeling Go", "Let's Push It" and "Should I Ever (Fall in Love)".

Artist

Nightcrawlers is a Scottish house music project, assembled by producer, DJ and vocalist John Reid (born 6 September 1963).

In an attempt to revive Nightcrawlers, Reid released a single entitled "Never Knew Love" in 1999. However, it failed to achieve any commercial success and as such, no further releases appeared until 2004, when underground artists JCA and Rosabot released a collaborative remix single of Reid's hit "Push The Feeling On".

It re-entered the U.S. Dance Chart, this time peaking at #1.

Elated with the success of the remixes, Reid once again began recording material for a possible second album. In 2011, the first single from the second album, "Cryin' Over You", was released in the United Kingdom and Germany. It features vocals from British singer Taio Cruz.

In 2018, John Reid released an EP titled The Nightcrawlers Soul Sessions.
