"Wonder" is a single by English rock band Embrace, released on 20 August 2001 (see 2001 in music).

First single from their third studio album, If You've Never Been and peaked at #14 on the UK Singles Chart. It was the song used by the BBC as a highlights clip, to celebrate England's victory over Argentina in the 2002 football World Cup.

It was also used in the pilot episode of the American TV serie Smallville.

If You've Never Been is the third studio album by English rock band Embrace. It was released on 3 September 2001 through Hut. It reached number nine on the official UK charts one year after the band's second album, Drawn from Memory, reached number eight.

Embrace are an English rock band formed in Bailiff Bridge in 1990. To date they have released seven studio albums, one singles album and one B-sidescompilation. The band consists of brothers singer Danny McNamara and guitarist Richard McNamara, bassist Steve Firth, keyboardist Mickey Dale and drummer Mike Heaton.

Gli Embrace debuttarono nel panorama musicale britannico nella seconda metà degli anni novanta, un decennio caratterizzato dall'esplosione del britpop, genere portato in quegli anni alla ribalta da gruppi quali Oasis, Blur, The Verve, Suede e Pulp.

Il primo album del gruppo, intitolato The Good Will Out e pubblicato nel 1998, gli Embrace si presentano dunque come l'ennesima band inglese di stampo britpop, il loro album d'esordio viene di fatto etichettato come il perfetto mix tra le sonorità di Oasis e The Verve.
