Song

"Inside of Love" was used in an episode of Wonderfalls, but it went unaired. The song was later used in an episode of How I Met Your Mother, One Tree Hill (Season 1, Episode "Hanging by a Moment") and Hawaii Five-0 and from there gained a larger following.

Let Go is the third album by alternative rock band, Nada Surf. It was released on Barsuk in 2002.

The album was met with commercial success and favorable reviews. Review aggregating website Metacritic reports a normalized score of 80% based on 11 reviews. Entertainment Weekly raved, "A dozen near-perfect pop songs, each one teeming with joyful desperation".

Let Go reached #31 on Billboard's Top Independent Albums chart, and the single for "Inside of Love" reached #73 in the United Kingdom.

I Nada Surf sono un gruppo alternative rock/indie rock statunitense formatosi nel 1992 a New York. Componenti della band sono Matthew Caws (chitarra, voce), Ira Elliot (batteria, cori) e Daniel Lorça (basso, voce).

Biografia

Daniel Lorça, di origini spagnole, figlio di un diplomatico e Matthew Caws, figlio di due professori universitari, dopo essersi conosciuti da piccoli, si rincontrano a New York al Lycée Français, dove studiano in francese e fondano, con un professore, Pascal Thouron, la loro prima band, i Cost of Living.

I Cost of Living, che vedono alternarsi alla voce Matthew e Marcelo Romero, tra vari cambi di line up registrano due dischi, Day of some lord (1986) e Comic Book Page (1989). La loro carriera si chiude nel 1990 dopo aver suonato in locali come il CBGB e aver registrato il video per la canzone "I needed you", passato anche su MTV 120 minutes.

Dopo vari pellegrinaggi per il mondo, Daniel ritorna a New York e ritorna a suonare con Matthew.
